Last week, I thought about the mechanics behind bikes: how they are put together, how they work when they are used and when they were invented. I wonder if the Delta Shelter was inspired by the mechanics of a bicycle? Anyway, this is a silhouette of an nineteenth century man riding a unicycle.
Thsi drawing also has vigor and energy. I like the square and diagonals; in my opinion they make the sketch move beyond the ordinary (no pun intended -- that kind of bike is called an Ordinary, as opposed to the style we ride nowadays, which was called a Safety bike). It makes the drawing refer to Leonardo's Vitruvian Man.
